Well that sure sounded like a great sing..and you are so right there's nothing like singing in numbers and nothing like singing to lift your spirits up.

wish I'd been there, too...I enjoy "church" music of all types...
..

....depending on the song I usually sing bass, but at times can reach the tenor notes (by standing on tiptoe....:)..

I am glad you sang! I once heard in church that if you can hear the person next to you, you aren't singing loud enough! What a glorious time, I would love to have been there! sam

singing or listening, there is something about song
which lifts the spirits in a way that nothing else can. Sounds like fun

I used to just love singing in a large choir. Nothing like it. I don't have much of a voice anymore though after sinus infections and bouts sof laryngitis. But I do love to listen.

Next best thing to a good sing is a listen! Wish I was there! Nita.

Community singing is very enjoyable. I used to sing in a choir. Nowadays I mostly sing for my grandchildren. We also sing at our Esperanto club. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

Sounds great
Claire loves to sing and we love it most of the time. She has a little pillow in her bedroom with the words stitched into it: "Sing as though nobody is listening"

It's a wonderful uplifting thing to be part of a choir!
I sang in glee club in high school, and I know exactly what you mean... even the part about maybe not being on the notes exactly, but surrounded by those who are!
