I do not wait well either. I get antsy rather quickly and even walk away, deciding to wait for a better day. LOL. But, serendipity at dawn is always good.

A bigger challenge is to go through your day exercising both and striking a balance. Give that one a shot – not easy.

Vogue - something else we have in common. I'm up at 5:45 and by 5:50 have a fresh cup of coffee and the NY Times and Stamford Advocate at hand. I love reading the paper, hands warming on my cup, that first sip of caffine to start my day. I tend to "plan ahead" though, which means that I schedule my time a week or longer out based on my kid's schedules and work assignments. When I get a new idea, it gets filed in my brain or a manilla folder for future action! Though if I don't write it down, it doesn't get attended to at all!! I look forward to your next dispatch from afar....Mal

I am also an early riser, but after that my choices are limited -actually, there
is no choice! I am not
allowed to sit and think of the day ahead, over a cup of tea, mulling the possibilities of my next move...the rails of my course are riveted with steel into the trestles of the path ahead, the die has been cast, my feeble hand is forced to grasp the leash...and take the doggie for a walk...

Like you, morning for me brings ultimate possibilities and choices. I like
that and how we have the opportunity to shape our day and lives. Enjoy yours!
