Poor Vogue... but since they say  that misery loves company I want you to know  it seems  Miami Beach got the blunt of the terrible storm we had this afternoon... I am not kidding you ,we had a couple of feet of water in the streets!!! they were impassable!  My house looked like an island... water all around it... Thank G-d that it is an old house and as such is built high up... if not  the water would have been inside :-(  as it is we had a couple of leaky doors and windows.  It was scary.  But like you said This is South Florida and May and June are very wet  :-)  Here is hoping you dried up by now and everything is OK.  xoxo

Awesome!  Lol, I live in Florida also and I was landscaping at that very time!  We had to sit in the truck for an hour and wait for the lightening to stop so that we could drag our wet, dirty butts out and finish the yard that we were halfway through cutting.  I forgot, every summer day from 2-4, you can almost set your watch by it.  You had asked me about my book that just got published.  It's called Worlds Away.  I posted the link a few days ago when I found out it was available.  About a week or so ago, I had put up a post on my journal blog about the press release, and you had asked me some questions because you said you're in the process of publishing also.  What's your book about?  When should it be available?

I remember those days in Florida...and the Bahamas...seemed to rain
every day for a little while, only making it more humid when the sun came out!
