Corbin, no I read it all
Yes, that citation was given to the Jones.  But it was NOT given because there was any attack on their religious ideas and had nothing at all to do with religion in general.  The problem was that because they had so many people over to their house for these Bible studies classes, they were causing a problems with traffic on the street they live on.

Check out the link I gave and read the facts on this.  But of course you don't care abotu the facts in such cases.  All Christians who get in trouble are victims no matter what, even if they really are th ones in the wrong, as is clearly the case here.  I mean those horrible neighbors whose cars get hit because the Jones have too many people over for their Bible Study classes, are obviously horrible and evil for not wanting such things to happen.  Christians should not care about common courtesy for their neighbors when it gets in the way of Bible study after all.  It's not like there are buildings that they could go to instead that have parking lots that will serve the needs of such crowds when they have such large groups.  They should build one and give it a name like... I don't know... Maybe 'church'.  But to do such would be to be humble and polite and respectful of their neighbors, and that is just too much work for these good Christians I guess.

Well, Kooky.......
you seemed to be suffering from the same ailment you accuse me of....selective reading......

Here's the citation they received.....would you care to read what it saying they were doing and what they had to stop doing?

Corbin, as always you didn't wait for the full story
Go learn all the facts about this case here.  It was not a religious issue at all, but a traffic issue.

Gotta love how those great Christians the Jones obviously are, failed to explain the whole story to the news.  Basically they wanted to play the victims and pretend that they were being attacked.

It is time to stand up! I don't know what to do but what concerns me is: What makes us different than N. Korea it is illegal to have a prayer meeting there too. Freedom of Religion is one of our first defining power. This is crazy.

Re: Corbin, there will come a day I'm sure that people will be arrested and

You gonna sit around and stand for it? I'm not. If anyone from this obama worthless liberal communist government comes into my house and tells me what I can or can not do in my own house then they will be shy one member of their worthless group. You can bank on that! This confederate don't take no crap! Bring it on and see what happens!

Liberals were worried about the Patriot Act because obviously they had something to hide; I do not nor have I ever had anything to hide. If this worthless piece of crap obama thinks for one minute he will come into my house with his liberal/communist junk then my house will be well defended and he will lose; trust me!

Corbin, there will come a day I'm sure that people will be arrested and
thrown in jail for home Bible studies....in both the U.S. and Canada...(I hate to be the pessimist, but that seems to be the way we're heading)

Corbin, The far left intends to stamp out Christianity as we know it.
It is sad to think that the constitution that provides for freedom of religion brings repercussions because of a few friends getting together for fellowship and a time in the word.

I'm finding this very hard to digest.  When I lived across town, I hosted a ladies' Bible study & prayer group meeting once a month in my home.  They were always ladies much older than me (The hoarder named Bea that I wrote about in my "Almost True" blog always attended).  We would have cakes and tea or coffee and cookies and have such a good time.  We all loved each other dearly.  Only one of them is still alive now and in a nursing home.  It is sad to think that people anywhere would not be able to freely entertain and socialize in that way.

Corbin
As you know, I am not likely to ever attend a Bible study session anywhere, but I am utterly appalled! What the hell is happening in the US? Not even in Canada...(and I hope nobody makes me eat my words...)...

Wow, how ridiculous...but the next time it swings the other way, it
may bring in the final movements of Revelation 13 which coerces worship.
