Meine Liebe, I too have both Ei and Firefox and it is ok as long as I know which one to use for which site. But, I can't offer no help as for technological comfuser problems: it's always a love and hate relationship btw them and I.

Vogue, I'm "technically challenged"! but IE and Firefox co-exist on my laptop (XP) quite peacefully! I use Firefox for suite101, and there's no problem. Firefox is also faster and supposed to be more reliable. All the best. Nita.

Im not too technical but I didnt think that would bother it, did you download anything else lately? I know my computer acts up when there is something it doesnt like. If you have two anti virus programs you will run into a problem, I dont think most websites like Explorer, a lot of times it is slow

Though I couldn’t tell you how to do it (I forget or perhaps someone did it for me) but like Corbin said you have to set FF as your default. Email Corbin as he can probably tell you how.

Have you designated Firefox as your default browser? I have both of them on my laptop without any conflict. It has vista on it. I had both on my desktop and had problems, so I dropped IE....That computer has Window XP Pro. Frankly, I try and avoid all things Microsoft, wherever possible......

I would get rid of IE. I had some problems recently because I had two hard drives installed (it's a long story, lol), but now I have everything on one and the other just sits there. And everything is fine...
