Enjoyed your gentle post and visited your lovely website. Good for you in all you do. Supposed to be summer here too but it's just 5c tonight and I've left the hibiscus out on the deck so I better run and bring it in.

Sounds like a good day to me
and let us know how the debates go. I always like the idea of a debate more than I like people debating with me

Rocking
Noting wrong with the “simple pleasures”. In fact, they bring us the most joy.

They don't call me Simple Simon for nothing!
The walk in the warm sun, browsing, and lunch at the cafe sounds like an ideal prescription for the day. Have a great day!

A bit thin on the ground.
No doubt ministers in the Danish church would be able to make similar comments about church attendance. My daughter who's a sociologist of religion has just published her Ph.D. thesis on this state of affairs. In conversations with focus groups in the Greater Copenhagen area she asked them to comment on the following:
1.What does it mean to be a believer today?
2.Can one be more or less religious?
Should you be interested in hearing more about her research I should be pleased to send you further information.
Thank you for your kind and sympathetic comment.
