Texas Gem,
"What it cost to assist them"? Then why not stop assisting? See how much they would "give a rip"? They might even "love you"?

Ditto what Texas Gem said.....and ditto what you said in your post....and thank you for sharing these photos - I've never seen them and really had no idea there were that many buried over there....I knew it was a lot, but this is mind boggling.

Corbin, Thanks for remembering our fallen soldiers....
We have NOTHING to apologize for except that we care too deeply for people who don't give a rip about what it costs the U.S. to assist them.  Obama doesn't know beans from barley, and needs to apologize to the U.S. for being a presidential impostor.

Re: Corbin Dallas,
Are you incapable of actually commenting on one's post and topics therein?  Or is personal derision an outlet for some deeply repressed sexual tendency?

Re: Re: Re: YOU MISS THE POINT
Can you tell me of a year when many countries haven't?

Re: Re: YOU MISS THE POINT
odd that it has been reported how many countries have felt adversely toward the U.S.

Stop going off on me with problems you have with my father.  I've never once written a post with your name in it.

I really am lost as to what is bothering you here. I very much tried to be respectful in expressing my views about your post, and you seem to be responding as if I were attacking you.  And you also seem to wish to present the idea that I have been commenting in an attacking manner regularly.  I rarely any more leave comments for you, since you never seem to want to exchange ideas.  if a person is not going to tell  you that everything you say if right, it seems you don't want to hear it.

If you are not here to exchange ideas and get views of people that see the world differently than you do, then why bother?  What is the point of blogging then?

Re: Corbin
Look....I said I appreciated your opinion.........at least for once you weren't  beating your chest proclaiming it as "Fact".

It's best that we agree to disagree....on just about everything.    But don't think both of you can come over here and pop off over and over again and not get a response.........now go and write a post with my name in it......that's usually what the next step is.

I find it very telling of the attitude you present about me and my father presenting our opinions here.

You ask me what is my point, which is clear if one reads my comment.

What is your point in acting so childish about someone presenting his opinion?

Do you really believe that your opinion is so much greater than everyone else's?

Re: Crobin, uh
And now the son comes forth...........Some how when I linked from my photobucket the first one was duped......I do appreciate your proofreading for me......I missed it......

as to the rest......I appreciate your expressing your opinion, and it is a click, that's all it is, just as my post is an expression of mine.....so what is your point?

Crobin, uh
You did notice that the first four pictures were all the exact same picture?  All obviously the same place?  You might want to go and find accurate pictures for those, since a quick check verifies that the picture if of The American Cemetery at Aisne-Marne, France. If you got the e-mail that, make the needed changes so that it is accurate, before you pass it on or post it as you did here.  Just some advice to help give credibility to your post.

Of course I am now wondering what you think Obama is apologizing for?  Yes, we have helped out Europe greatly in the past, but that does not mean that when we screw things up, as Bus did in the Middle East, that we should not be able to admit it was a screw up.  I thought one of the preaching of believers was to be humble, which would be admitting to making mistakes.  Because of what Bush did, Europe became a much more hostile place due to them being far easier for the actual terrorists, as well as the new ones who became terrorists due to Bush doing exactly what the terrorists groups claimed we did, to reach.  And so the Europeans actually end up suffering because of our country's actions.  That is something to apologize for. And since Bush was not man enough to admit his mistakes, it falls on Obama to stand up and be a man and do it for him.

The problem is that you for some strange reason do not understand that it is not a sign of weakness to admit you made a mistake. It is not a bad thing to apologize when you make a mistake.  It is actuality the weaker man who make a mistake and then finds all manner of justification to hide behind instead of saying he was wrong.

Of course such ideas of being humble and being able to admit mistakes follow the teachings of Christ, and since I don't follow Christ, maybe I should sound more like you... Although I thought you did follow the teachings of Christ, at which point this whole post would seem to go against that...  Okay, now I am starting to get confused as to which one of us is the Christian.

YOU MISS THE POINT
There is no connection.

WWII was about something else entirely from what is faced today.

Our country during the past 8 years has acted atrociously toward the rest of the world --

The Bush administration ignored the basic tenets of decency.

The dead of all past wars almost died in vain the way Herr Bush et al. have acted, killing and maiming tens of thousands  of our young people who obeyed patriotically but for no real good purpose for an invasion of Iraq that was without cause or purpose except to put $$$ in the pockets of VP Cheney's friends.

This war has for certain put us to shame, and our attitude toward the rest of the world.  We need to mend fences and move toward the future with the rest of the world on our side, instead of either being against us or half-heartedly cooperating.
