Actually, she said once that her name isn't Hazel, but Cricket.
And that she lives on Hazel Street. In any case, she was always fun and made great comments, and I miss her too. Plus, which, she started one interesting bar story and never finished it. Joe, I love the way you approach things, life in general and Blogit and the people who live here.

Write on!

Re: lustorlove
Yes, the st stands for Street. I remember her doing a post where she discussed that's what it stood for but that everyone thought it stood for Saint.

there are many reason any blogger leaves, but I think with cricket, the st doesnt stand for saint but Street, she is very busy trying to restart her life, and now she has a job, she will return I am sure. I miss her a lot too

Joe,
Many of us have been wondering about Hazel, and hoping for her return. I'm not sure what her reasons are for being gone.
However, I think blogging here has a lot to do with feeling accepted and supported in one's writing and creative efforts. So, when a few bloggers dictate through words and behaviors what others not like them should write or do, it leaves some feeling alienated, and therefore no longer feeling safe to write anything out of fear of being banned. It's no surprise that they pull up stakes and disappear. So sad.

Sad when bloggers disappear. I read her blogs regularly and miss them. However it does mean that I clicked on new and unknown profiles and found yours; one goes out another comes in!

P.S. Do you know how much of a kick I get out of reading your "monster" stories? I LOVE THEM.

LOL, thanks for the compliment...I
think?
Hazel st Cricket had her reasons for leaving and just to let you know, the few times she did say she was going to leave - she really was going to - but people on Blogit kept bringing her back. I think that's what happens to a lot of us on Blogit - we all, at one point, for one reason or another, want to leave - but SOMETHING always pulls us back. I mean, come on though, many Blogit writers are so intriguing to read, yourself included - though I don't always comment, I apologize - that this place is hard to let go.

I decided I'm just going to stick around until I get sick of it or Blogit it just kicks my butt off. Whichever comes first!
