Absolutely...
When will we awaken?

This poem of yearning hope is lovely..and desperate, at the same time, in my eyes. It expresses the beauty, the hope, the music, the peace that is perceived and we all want to possess - it is rightfully ours - We could not perceive it if we didn't know what it was. And we want it...so desperately. And need it so desperately....

Well, WE see that and most of us all hope in various degrees for this peace. I know I do..as you so poignantly express.

But why isn't it within our power to take it then?

After a relatively long life, I have come to the conclusion that if the whole world is incapable (for whatever reason) to reach out to the peace that is there, that does not mean that the individual cannot. So I think, we can change the world: one person at at time, beginning with me; and you, with you. As we become peaceful, being art of the whole, the whole - in a great mystery - takes steps foward to becoming 'on Earth as in Heaven'.

So, IMHO, each individual has a responsibility to himself and by becoming peaceful ourselves, we will help the world we love. Didn't Gandhi say:

BE THE PEACE THAT YOU SEEK. ?

Love,

Raphael

...and this one is for you...

Little planet

Being stripped

By its appointed

Caretakers

Little round

Spinning

Blue beauty

Being drilled

And emptied

By chief

Ambitious

Creatures

Manipulated

By dark shadows

Copulating

In their

Hearts.
