Awesome, the blueridge was with our convoy of ships, I believe it was the Denver, the Blueridge, and the Debuke.
not positive though, but yes the Blueridge sounds right. I was with the 3rd marine Div. Headquarters Btn. Communications Co. Radio Platoon.

You must have been in Subic Bay about the same time that my son was. He was signalman on the USS Blue Ridge. He has told me many stories of many places in the Pacific.
