Oh I had good speed with the dsl and the speed isnt that much better, but its the principal, I dont like what the phone company did to an ex employee and a loyal customer, but I will watch out for the extra charges

Watch out with cable.
They charge me an extra $2+ bucks if I don't have the money to pay them exactly on time. I called it "highway robbery". And the rate you get the first year disappears forever afterward....but by then you are hooked and can't live without the speed....

yes and it was a breakup, I have had the same phone service since we came here in 1949, companies have changed, and names, but they are all connected some way. I worked for them for 11 years and this is they way they treat me, I am divorcing them for good, unless the cable company does me bad

I would love to do the same thing to my phone company.
Unfortunately, out where I live, we can't get cable (thus I rely on the telephone for internet). So. ., good for you for sticking it to the phone company!!!!
