Ah yes my dear Vogue
I - as I am sure many of us - have been in this situation and yes I believe this is the best thing to do if you can - it is part of a bigger process of forgiveness both ourselves and the other party which can only result in good; many blessings and thanks for sharing

I had a fallen out with a cousin when my mom died almost 3 years ago, and I accidently sent her one of those emails that you send about being friends, and she commented and I had a snotty come back, and sometimes I think I should befriend her again, before its too late, she just celebrated her bday on May 5, she is 10 years younger than me

You are one of generous heart my friend... I am glad your feud got resolved... Baby is gorgeous and keeping me quite busy since Suzy seems to have come down with a bad cold...  so Nana to the rescue  loll... with that and my aches and pains I am a disaster and not too good company :-(.  I thought you were gone to NY... well we will talk soon  Take care of you  xoxoxo

I had a similar experience with my uncle, and things are fine now. I'll never forget the stunned silence when I called him up after 14 years! Makes you feel good, doesn't it, though taking the first step is daunting.

SO Wonderful, Vogue.
I agree. Situations like this needs rendering , one person has to be the"bigger" person and step forth. It's not always easy, but it's just the ego, which is something we all need to let go of. xoxoxoox GREAT POST!!!
