pelayo, I very much enjoyed reading about your class from last year and prep for the new year.  I will check in on you in a few weeks, I'm sure you will be having fun!

Well I admit i didn't make anything in class for mom this year
she will be so disappointed, she loves those pot holders. Oh well, I'll send her a card and tell her I love her.

Re:
reality...hmm. I see your point and I know all too well that not all mothers are maternal. However I am trying, on a daily basis, to see the world from another perspective. Call me naive...I don't mind.

It would be wonderful world if we all had mothers whom we could be enthusiastic about or children who remembered that they have mothers. The reality is sadly somewhat different. Sorry to be a spoilsport!

I have not! My mother abandoned me so it is not a big deal to me to celebrate this day! But I think mothers should be recognized and revered! sam

Oh, how I wish I could be with my mom on Mother's Day!  I love states away from her.  I sent her a card but it's just not the same.  Great post, thanks for sharing your heartwarming account of mother's day mayhem.
