Re: elinjo
You like writing, don't you? That's a wonderful interest to have and you do it well.

Re: lusterlove
I guess I am one of the doubters, you are your own God because you get peace from the thoughts that you asked God for help.

It's the peace that comes from God.  It's hard to explain. When I am in a really difficult situation, and I pray, an incredible peace will come over me. That's my story.

You are really good at finding tip top topics for discussion! So you are doing at me a favour, thank you Lustorlove.

My life is 110% full. Writing, Esperanto (I'm chairperson for the Copenhagen Esperanto Club), voluntary work for old age pensioners (telephone service), my grandchildren, daily walks, seeing my friends and surfing the net. Oh I nearly forgot, housework, cooking, laundry and shopping. If there's any time left over I lounge on the sofa and watch Dr.Phil; very sensible man or I torture myself watching the news!

I retired seven years ago and these years have  been some of the best years of my life. When your children find their feet, I hope you will start enjoying your life to the full.

It was great at first then it made a big U turn and now it fell apart, and I too have thought about taking a course, but I need to find a part time job

If all those around me – the people I love and care for – are happy and healthy, that fulfills me.  My writing also fulfills me but I’m finding that all of that is not enough these days.  Sometime inside of me is simmering.  I think I may go back to school if only for one course – something I can sink my teeth into.  I’m sorry your retirement hasn’t unfolded as you hoped it would.  Hopefully your daughter finds work soon and can move on with her life and you can discover what your next chapter is.

Getting along with my husband and being able to relate well to my children (the ones at home and the ones who are grown).  When things are hard and things don't go right for me, I turn to the Lord in prayer and then peace comes, no matter how bad the circumstances.

Before Wiley it was just the grandchildren and my writing as I was retired
Now each day is so full I wonder where it went. I love the garden the animals my writing and going for coffee with Wiley or whatever we decide to do.

thta, my friend is a good question. My family and grandchildren
especially my grandchildren, but I am unfulfilled and need more. I hope that doesn't sound bad, but really, I need more in my life. i am very grateful for what I have, though, but there is an emptiness that leaves me wanting.
