Re: Re: Re: onwingsoflove, rebuttals to your "so-called answers"

I did not write any comment in hatred, and it is hardly "derogatory". It is the truth, and I'll not change my mind on it. I have no hate except for the hate of sin. God hates sin as well, if you haven't noticed. I've not made any faults here, everything I say here is Bible based, it's to bad you don't believe in the Bible, and in not doing so, you DONT believe in God either since the "Word was God".

And I could care less what George Shaw says, his words sound like Charlie Brown's mother to me,"wa wa wo wa", whatever. I care what God says, not some degree induced dummy. I don't follow man, but God Almighty.

And I'm not sure how else you'd like me to explain something so simple to you. You can't understand it now, how in the world would you understand it if I broke out the really big words? The Bible is spiritually discerned, so it's impossibe for you to understand it since you're not saved.

Perhaps you should read my previous comment to you again regarding "reinforcements". You haven't stood alone here, your the one who's had all the help, I guess they think you need it.

Obviously you did not read my blog, so here is something that should make you get a faint idea as to what a true Christian ideal should be, but I'm not sure whether you'll soak much out of it as far as tolerance is concerned ... sam: "Touche my Bro! I accept all people! I believe that we will all be united as one and since I follow the teaching of Jesus I would be remiss if I did not say that He has said, 'Love one another as I have loved you." If we practice this first we would not be over bearing or judgmental! You know how much you helped me understand what God was having me do with my epic poem! It was never about religion, so thankfully I am the way I am or I would have missed out on a great teacher!"

C'mon, don't get so worked up that you keep crying hoarse forgetting all intelligent reasonings. Why are you not answering as to why did you write that derogatory title in hatred, or is it Christian hate justified? I said choose not to answer if you feel I am too tiring for your comfort. Your mind is convoluted by faith in the untrue Bible truths. Who can show you the light of Truth? You kill Copernicus as a heretic as it goes against the Bible teaching that it is the Earth and not the Sun that goes around orbitting, and then say it were the hypocriites and not Christians who killed him for saying a truth. As a true Christian, please do not defend when you can't, and accept your ignoramus faults in humilty. George Bernard Shaw has said that the Bible is hopelessly pre-evolutionary; its astronomy terracentric, its history epical and legendary. The Bible educated are misfits for public employment, parental responsibilty, or the franchise. By giving Bible answers try passing an examination - that you'll fail is a foregone conclusion. but that you'll not be certified as a lunatic, will be fortunate. Let all your Bible Thumpers congegate, I'll stand alone and win hands down. Decide.

Re: onwingsoflove, rebuttals to your "so-called answers"

No. Jesus had ALL power to do whatever He wanted, He CHOSE to die for sinners, and so He did.

The Bible is NOT wrong. It is faith based, NOT scientific. As I have stated earlier, grace and mercy are not up on a shelf somewhere in a lab waiting to be tested-it was tested on the cross. I'm glad that you agree that you are a hypocrite. There is NO way, you can be saved, and not believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God-NO WAY. "It is impossible for God to lie". Faith doesn't turn anything to truth, faith is BELIEVING the truth. The TRUTH IS THE TRUTH WHETHER SOMEONE BELIEVES IT IS OR NOT.

Everyone is born a sinner, BUT being Born-Again is to be re-born of the spirt inside. You sound like Nicodemous asking, "how can a man enter into his mothers womb again and be born a second time?" No one is born a christian, everyone is born a sinner (except Jesus of course, He was sinless) it is up to a person to be saved or not when the Holy Spirt gives that invitation. Once a person has repented and accepted Christ, the sins are cast as far as the east is from the west to be remembered no more. Sins are covered by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. And don't twist my words with the jewelery thing. I said that I don't wear cross jewelery, and if a person worships that, then it is a sin. That would be like someone wearing the murder weapon of their wife or husband around their neck-think about it. The cross represents sadness and pain. And I'll not worship the cross itself, but will forever be grateful for what Jesus did on that cross for me.

And perhaps my "Biblethumper" friends, as you call them, can see that I am handling this conversation just fine on my own. I don't need reinforcments to talk to someone. Perhaps you should look at it like you are apparently the one who needs help, and your athiest friends have to come to your rescue because you're not doing a good enough job defending yourself, and you need all the help you can get. God has not forsaken me, thats an ignorant thing to say. Jesus says He'll NEVER leave us nor forsake us. I don't need to see YOUR "light of day". My light is Jesus. He is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

onwingsoflove, rebuttals to your "so-called answers"

Firstly, "could have and chose not to". That's you telling not Jesus, so it's incredulous, just like saying I couldn't have answered so chose to avoid answering about my obnoxious title. That is hypocrisy. By that token, question are you a Christian?

Good to know that you agree that the Bible is unscientific, and thus wrong. "My faith or your faith is not going to turn them into truth. LUDICROUS, indeed, then to go on believing!Revering Christ and believing the Bible are two different things. If the Bible is based of uncientific truths, it is akin to lying, and I can have no reverence for such a scripture, or any liar/s for that matter. By the very same token I'm a hypocrite only if I believe the Bible. So, I don't.

How come a true-born Christian is a born sinner? If he is not and believes himself to be one, isn't that hypocrisy? So all Christians are hypocrites. It's like saying a thief's son is a thief. In all likelihood the son is not. To conclude so is a stupid hypocritical mentality as if it were a commandment. Or, is it that Christians are criminals? Again, by that token if you are a true believer of that commandment then you should not be a Christian. Also, do you mean to say that Christians who wear a cross around their necks are not Christians but hypocrites? The cross on the neck is symbolic of the murder weapon? Well, I never knew that!!!

You espouse the cause of Christianity so vehemently almost to the point of loud vocality, yet no Bible Thumpers read you or come to your defense? Has God forsaken you? Ask yourself. Still, I'll say that I don't mean any offence, I want you to see the light of the day.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: onwingsoflove, this is just not done

First of all Jesus could have saved Himself, He chose not too.

Second, If you revere Jesus as you say, then how is it that you don't believe the Bible? "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God." The Bible is NOT based on science, it is based on faith.

Thirdly, Christians and Hypocrites are 2 very different types of people. Many people carry that name "christian" around, but actions speak louder than words. They will go and make an appearance on Sundays, and tell dirty jokes on Monday. So, "no", a true born-again Christian is not a hypocrite.

Fourthly, I don't wear crosses around my neck, nor do I worship the cross itself. The One who hung there is to be worshiped, not the murder weapon.

The ham sandwich thing IS funny, in fact, it's pretty stupid to me. It's hard for me to even believe that it happened.

Lastly, I'm not sure how many "Bible Thumpers" as you call them have read my blog, and even so, it does not matter one way or the other. I don't need anyone to "rescue me", the Lord will do that soon enough when He comes back. It's nice for them to comment, but if they choose not too, it doesn't bother me in the least.

Re: Re: Re: Re: onwingsoflove, this is just not done
Firstly, go and see what I have to say on Tolerance here. Anyway, I do not wish to cross my boundaries even if your answers are wayward and are a cicumvention in you address. I asked why could Jesus not save himself, and I do know its spiritual reason that it was great that he didn't, but you answer that because he saved a thief tied on a pole, he laid down his own life. Well, that's an exchange.    I revere Jesus, that I've already made known to you, but not the Bible because it is so full of scientific untruths: The Sun Move Round the Earth -  Joshua commanded the sun to stand still and not the earth, so how can that fool Copernicus tell us otherwise? He was killed because he was a heretic in the eyes of the bible, the Church, but a sage to the eyes of later sciences, so Christians have him killed. Will you still say that they were not Christians but hypocrites, or is it that Christians can't be hypocrites? And, why did you not answer the hypocrisy in the titling of 'god' as against Christian GOD? Ham sandwich-eating? I find that too ham funny. Coming to Buddha, why do you wear the cross, gold, wood, or any other around your necks? By the very same token they worship the wooden Buddha as a symbol. I still say that you are shying intelligent Christians away from your religion and in doing that, you are doing a disservice to your Lord. Now, please stop quoting and start explaining the quotes. I want to know how much you know or understand. I am all for healthy discussions, but where are the other bible thumpers gone. Aren't they coming to your aid?

Re: Re: Re: onwingsoflove, this is just not done

I denounce budda because it is a stature carved out by man. Christians worship the ONE GOD, not statues. And you said "It simply means intolerance out of your ignorance"? HuH? Jesus did tolerate sinners and hypocrites while on this earth, He did it while telling them the TRUTH. And if sinners don't except Christ they WILL go to Hell, period. The "christians" you speak of that cruxified Him were not christians but HYPOCRITES, whom also by the way were called such by Jesus Himself. Jesus also called them "snakes and vipers". And the ONLY reason they killed Him was because He allowed it. HE GAVE HIS LIFE, no one took it. HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for sins, but in order to go to Heaven, one must go through Christ, there is NO other way. Budda didn't die for sins, as did NO other graven image. So why in the world would I pray to something thats dead, like a stick of wood or something made of gold. If you'll recall, Aaron made a graven image, a cow, they melted down gold and molded it, and then worshiped it. God was full of wrath and anger. It is wrong, wrong, wrong! And any such graven image is a FALSE god, just like I said. And those countries who worship those gods are GOD-FORSAKEN. God won't bless a country who worships cows, and budda's, and mother earth. To many worship the creation instead of the CREATOR which is equally wrong. And again, I ask the same question, "why would I go to a place to eat knowing I hated the food, then complain about it when I get there?" Why do buddhist, and muslims, come to America, only to get little boys suspended for eating a ham sandwich in front of a muslim boy at school-are you kidding?! We happen to like ham sandwiches over here, and if muslims don't want to eat them, they should keep their mouths shut, or simply leave, period!

Remember the 2 thieves on the cross? One mocked Jesus, and tempted Him saying "if thou be the Christ, then come down from the cross", the other thief said "do you not fear God, this man is innocent, we deserve to die, he doesn't". The thief who tempted Him didn't make it to Heaven because he didn't believe. The other thief who said "remember me when you come into your Kingdom" went to Heaven, Jesus said "today you will be with me in paradise". Jesus did perform a miracle on the cross, He saved someone that very day, and what He went through for sinners is a miracle in itself. But it is up to a person to accept Him or not. And I HAVE answered your questions intelligently, my answers come from the Bible, if you'd rather me use big words you'll find hard to pronounce, I can do that as well. But salvation is simple, it's a matter of believing and being born again, or not believing. Going to Heaven or to Hell. There is NO in between. You don't need to make something that is so easy to understand, complicated. Infact, it's so simple, the people who are "ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ" will not understand it. I'll NOT sugar coat the truth, Jesus never did either.

Not all.

There have been Americans who refuse to eat ham and pork and other such since before the American Revolution.  Jews, who had a hand in building our country.  Of course, they're part of the 95% that are going to Hell -- so how can you say that a 5% success rate is a success?

Re: Re: onwingsoflove, this is just not done

Excuse me that I am having to say this as first words.

You say you never said "its my way or the highway. It is Gods way, not mine". You are simply imposing your way in total disregard of others' way (Oh why did I not realize this was tolerance)?  It's Ok when you say Jesus is the only way to heaven, after all that's what you believe in, but it is definitely not OK when you denounce Buddha as you have in your comment earlier. It simply means intolerance out of your ignorance. Jesus was intelligent enough to tolerate, he had no choice in the very hands of his own followers, the Christians, who tortured and did him to a most horrible death. Now their hands were red with the blood of Christ; so the opposite happened, they felt guilty, and in order to absolve themselves of this heinous crime, started praying to the one they had killed so that they be absolved in the eyes of the Holy Father. And the funny thing is that the ardent believers, the devouts are still the offsprings of Sin. No wonder!  Why, and I want an answer from you (I know the reason, it's too profound for small understandings) as to why Jesus did not exhibit his miracle when it was the most needed, as he was being nailed at the cross? He forgave them, rather he should have been laughing and saying to these idiots "Look here, you fools, did you think you could kill the only son of God?"

As a last word, your title is so full of hatred ... "TAKE YOUR FALSE gods AND GO BACK TO YOUR GOD-FORSAKEN COUNTRIES". Two things to note here: others' GODS spelt in small letters 'gods' because you consider them FALSE, and second, Get Out Of My God Country and go back to your hellish (again in loudly shouting bold letters GOD-FORSAKEN COUNTRIES). How could you include or ridicule even countries? It is ridiculous and cannot be tolerated by a patriot worth his salt.  This is not someone OnWingsofLove but OnWingsof Hate. Now if you can call yourself a true Christian, I dare you to answer my questions (intelligently, please) if you can. Take any Bible Thumper's support if you will to prove me UNCHRISTIAN, in my ideals, of course.

As a last of last words, I am sorry that I am having to use harsh words, but when they have to be used, they have to be used as a weapon.

hey bhaskar,

I want you to know that i never said "its my way or the highway". It is Gods way, not mine. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. The Bible clearly tells us this many many times. And every soul on this Earth has the right to recieve Him or reject Him. But, rejection carries the ultimate penalty. And talking about tolerance, imagine what all Jesus tolerated on that cross... That will be doing disservice to your Lord. I wonder if Christianity ever really taught tolerance? And if it did then why do the devout followers not abide by it?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patriotism has nothing to do with religion...
I am a Roman Catholic. I do appreciate the truth that there are several denominations calling themselves Christians. They do have vast differences in their teachings. Some focus on a personal relationship with God rather than belief. That aside, Christians have every right to differ from you in their pursuit of spirituality without being called WRONG! WE also came here legally, and most of our families are here too. We pay our taxes and try to give unlike many who come to extract and send home.Who is really saved? The person who says he is? Christ was not a Christian and did not follow any bible. Why should others not be able to do the same if they follow Christ? Besides, if you know biblical history, the bible (Sinai version) was written after AD325. No disciples were involved. There are over 600 versions, whic are you referring to....The one that was composed and edited under the orders of King James? Do some research (Tony Bushby has a book called the Bible Fraud) and your seeming intolerance for the view of other Christians may become tempered. You have no proprietory monopoly on God who has many folds and many shepherds!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patriotism has nothing to do with religion...
I know that not all americans are christians, infact, most of them are not. Also, "religion" is what it is-a belief, and there are lots of them, but only ONE belief counts-God's belief, which is in His Word for us to read. It's not that believing in a religion makes someone evil, but there is only ONE GOD, and God is not a religion, He is THE Saviour, and the ONLY way to Heaven. Anything contrary to what the Bible says is wrong, and won't work. So, if someone believes in a way to Heaven besides coming to Christ, then they ARE wrong. If someone's religion teaches them to worship a budda statue, thats wrong as well. The first two commandments in the Bible clarify this. "No graven images", and "No other gods before Me".Christianity is also a label, yes I call myself a christian and so do others here on blogit, which is great if one such person has been saved, in that case they have every right to call themselves a christian, but I think you'll agree that not everyone who calls themselves a christian is one, hence they are then called "hypocrites". I hope you can understand my point here. Blessings to you as well.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Patriotism has nothing to do with religion...

I commend your fervent belief in God, which I too share, but in a much broader spiritual sense. So please allow me to humbly correct some of your misconceptions, albeit possibly uninteded.

First of all, "we Americans" are not all Christians. There are many a non-Christians that are "model Americans" and some Christians that are anything but. So please stop equating patriotism with religion.

Secondly, different religions have different symbols / idols for God that are simply manifestations / representations of God's different qualities, eg, prosperity (Laxmi), intellect / knowledge (Saraswati), etc. So stop making ignorant comments about religions other than Christianity, especially highly spiritual and peaceful religion like Hinduism, and rather take the time to read up & get educated on them so you can converse sensibly on those subjects.

Lastly, the mere fact that someone does not believe in religion does not make that person evil / devil, but simply an atheist / agnostic, which are aptly descriptive words, but they are in no way demeaning or indicative of an inferior / condemned person.

Hope this helps. Peace & blessings,

Re: Re: Re: Patriotism has nothing to do with religion...
Yes there is only ONE GOD, but not everyone believes that now do they? I don't know why you are saying that I was "preaching otherwise". Anyone who's ever read my blogs KNOWS I believe their is ONE GOD. But that doesn't change the fact that some believe there is no God, and some believe in idols made of wood, or statues with fat bellies. Those things aren't God, they are gods, which can not do anything for anyone. I don't see your argument here. I'm trying to get the point across that people who come over to America and complain about the ONE TRUE GOD, need to go back to their own coutries if they feel that strongly about it. No one told the muslims, or the hindu, or the sun worshipers to come over here. Did you know that there was  a little boy at school eating his lunch (which just happened to be a ham sandwich that day) and as he was eating, the muslim boy across from him threw a fit, and told his parents that another child was eating a ham sandwich and the boy who ate the ham sandwich got suspended from school because the sandwich offended the muslim. How stupid!!! We americans just happen to eat ham sandwiches over here, and turkey, and hamburgers. So if it offends them, they should leave or keep their mouth shut. I really hope you see my point on this now.

There is no "our" God vs "their" God ! There is only ONE God, and He loves ALL. Preaching otherwise is divisive, which is against the very fundamental principle of God, unity. Unity in diversity is the ultimate harmony in God's garden.
