I like the image of the spiraling, onward wave to signify thoughts... for how many times our thoughts go round and round...each time we pass through the same plane of thought we are a little higher in our understanding and so we go on and on, not in circles but as you said in a spiral, kind of eliptic motion... Amazing poem Margaret, very thought provoking if you pardon the pon :-) xoxo

Your vision on 'thought' is beautiful. I love the image of the banister-less staircase - it's the perfect image for thought because as easily as a thought can change, as easily can a person change courses or fall off that staircase onto another. Perfection.
