Yes, Yes...this IS me......

"She gets up on Sunday morning, and in front of the mirror, takes her stance. She stretches her arms, rubs her eyes, then gives herself a glance. She tries to be the lady she finds starring back at her. But the closer she tries to look, the more the image begins to blur."

So she puts in her contacts (ah, there NOW I see clearly) and she heads out the door. Maybe a walk in the park w/ the dogs, grab the Sunday paper then head home (put on the classical music station), and starting cooking up a wonderful breakfast for her husband and kids (and any hangers on the kids have sleeping over). She's filled with love and happiness as, one by one, the kids smell breakfast cooking and arrive in the kitchen stretching and rubbing their eyes. Oh look, her son has a friend staying over (the one who has a sad family life and knows he is ALWAYS welcome here). More than likely, we will all spend the day relaxing, maybe watching the CUBS play, maybe work in the garden or (weather permitting) swim in the pool. Maybe a family water volleyball game later in the afternoon. Dinner on the grill, good conversation. There won't be a word spoken about god or religion (unless we expound on previous conversations about how ridiculous such beliefs are). Most of all, we will feel the love of family and friends. Life is good.

You see, it IS possible to live w/out god/religion. We do it all the time.
