Great post! Tears and joy.
I think you and your daughter are both lucky, and she gets her thoughtfulness from you.

Your post brought tears to my eyes ...
.... tears of sadness and happiness both! I am a mom to 2 boys and can completely relate to the emotional hopscotch that we moms feel when it comes to our angels. Now, don't get me wrong -- my boys can be ...well ... boys. However, what I do relate to is how your daughter is so empathetic and so generous. How she can feel so deeply both in pain and in joy. My younger son is precisely like that. Mega mommy high-fives!!!
