Let's see, she poo pooed Bush's $600, her husband gives us $14 extra per week for 6 months, hmmm? Looks like the $14 would not buy me a pair of those ugly colored shoes!
By the way, have'nt we been told by her husband that it is this mentality that got us into this mess in the first place and how ashamed we must be to have mismanaged our money in this way?

this reminds me of the movie 'Richer or Poorer.' Michelle had to spend those buck$ to celebrate hur husband's ability to spend mo money in 100 days than any other prez in the world. Maybe she bought the ugly shoes so nobody would bother'em, ya think?
