Civility does not belong to a specific group and those who practice uncivil behavior set themselves apart into a group who is made up of hurt for others and themselves.

Thank you for the wise comment. Neither side has room to be intolerant some just take it. The believers can't lift a finger so save a non-believer. A non-believer is within the grace we believe in He/She can only come to God through the Holy Spirit's bidding. Why in the world would I choose to belittle them because I was one of them. I was never an Atheist and I don't like their intolerance. Thank you.

I fully agree. I have no malice toward those who do not believe. That right even God gives to them. I do have a problem with those who ridicule the Lord and all who believe in Him. Only the Holy Spirit can bring them to repentance. The non-believers are so different than the athestist I have no words for them because I can do no good for them. I would appreciate their having no words for me. Thank you for your comment. Be blessed.

The 'secret' (which, of course, is not
really a secret) for believers and non-belivers is to be tolerant of one another; the problem is that few on either side of the divide have the capacity or the willingness to understand that...

Life in the Lord is experiential and those who do not seek it are usually the ones who are outspoken against the Lord! He lives! sam

Justi.......
Good Message....I have a real hard time with those that are more than just "not Christian", they are "Anti-Christian" to the extent that they attack, and thrive on being as
in your face" as possible. They ridicule our Lord, belittle all believers, and then claim we are the one forcing something down their throats. Civil discussion is out of the question, so it boils down to having no discussion at all........How are we to continue to turn the other cheek?

Yes the tithing is a required amount. Most of us give time and effort as well. It makes no difference if they are Christian, or what color they are if they need help we go to the rescue. How could someone find that wrong? Be blessed.

10% Of Your Pay?
Giving 10% of your weekly pay is something called "tithing" for those of you who practice Chrisitan bashing and attempt to portray us as mean spirited, hate filled people who wish harm on atheist. We have tithed 10% weekly because this is what pleases God and is our belief in helping your fellow man. However, it goes further than that. In my life whatever I have given someone HAS been returned to me ten fold. Not that it is a selfish outcome you are hoping to achieve but it is the right thing to do for your fellow human beings. Whether it is a woman (she was black by the way Xeno, imagine that me the racist southerner as you call me) who had her house burn down and we were able to give her a kitchen table and a bed so she could get started again or simply trying to help a migrant worker (he was black also Xeno, imagine that coming from me and my fellow Sunday school class members) get out of his terrible living conditions by getting him back to his home in Florida with the rest of his family. As you can see, Christians do not do this to make ourselves 'feel good' which is a popular theme from others but it is the right thing to do. Of course you never hear about this stuff on CNN, lol. This is what God wants us to do and that is help in any way we can.
GREAT POST! ( I know I just picked up on a little of what your post was about but the 10% tithing was important to me)

How perfectly your blog name fits this post! What happened to the decency and respect people used to have for each other? How in the world did we become a nation that sues rather than a nation that cares?
