Musings Post Shabbat in Melbourne
Just dropped in to say hi. We have both been sick. Nir has had croup and I have had no voice and been feeling rotten. Hope all are well and I get to see some blogs eventually.
I am going to do a couple more pages of my RPL test for editing on line and then work on the Chronicles of Or to do some more work on it and post. It is growing tentacles in my head wanting to get out. (ONLY KIDDING!!) 
Just an interesting muse. We have on some of the bus shelters big posters about the dangers of ICE a very potent form of crack typs substance that is horrifyingly addictive and has horrendous effects on people's personalities. Now with all due respect, why are they wasting money on having these posters on bus shelters? The people on drugs are not going to pay the slightest bit of notice to these signs. Far better to spend the money on schools both primary and secondary (although by secondary - it is often too late nowadays) to educate kids about the horror of drugs and the dangers to their health and wellbeing.
I think the earlier we can educate kids against drugs and even alcohol and cigarettes the better. We need to give all kids the tools to be interesting and active adults who will not use drugs when they are bored.
