There is that saying "God works in mysterious ways". Your story touches the heart.. and my heart too. I've heard it said you don't always know the reason until later on. But there is a plan. Muley I'm so glad you shared your wonderful story.

Re: metalrat:
Hi metalrat, fortunately things like that don't happen everyday, but when you become a co-worker for God anything is possible.

Re: BCA Bill
Hi Bill, thank you for your thoughtful comment. The spirituality I speak of is not fundamentalist, but very fundamental.

Hi merkie! you are so right, we all are possible outlets for the Holy Spirit because we ARE the Holy Spirit.

I think that God is who he is. Indeed he says that he is I AM, to be. It also says that Jesus is the Word. Certainly he takes action. We do too love. In this way his gender doesn’t matter. I use the masculine because I believe that we saw him in the physical presence of his son Jesus on earth. This I consider within his relationship with Mary Magdalene. Although it could have been Elton John with Princess Diana, and indeed it was Platonic, but it appears that he was a man. His followers share the same relationship to him as Moses and the patriarchs Ruth and other women disciples notwithstanding to intercede on the behalf of the Hebrews with the father. We have in common today with the disciples of Jesus the Holy Spirit who helps us intercede in the issues of others. I took theology in Bronxvile, New York that isn’t a cold term but the study of Scripture and the relationship of people to it. To the end it takes all kinds to make the world work in the world of God.  Now I blogit again. J BCA, Bills Roost

This is a wonderful post my friend
a true inspiration to others; just as someone will always appear to help us when needed so we find ourselves in the same position for others - I find this to be almost always true; I will indeed add your little daily affirmation to mine; many blessings and thanks

Re: We never know how our days are written........
Hi Corbin Dallas! how our days are written, or how they end is immaterial. What counts is how we lived them. How you live them is your choice.

What a fantastic testimony! I think you are very correct! Declaring our intention is good! I know that one of my intentions is prayer for others and I always have someone to pray for! It is refreshing that so many get answered because the Lord knows many on counting on me and of course HIM! sam How is Mr. Wibur these days?
