Lovely Merkie...gardening is definitely rewarding in many ways, after the weeds are removed.

Hey Jane. Good to see you typing and reading. You will have to take a picture of the mysterious bulbs when they bloom! I love iris . Nice greenery after they bloom and easy to grow! I planted some last fall and they are struggling to show. I moved some plants last fall also and see them starting to grow. Signs of spring! Thanks so much for dropping by!

Re: snowview
If what we dream comes true and the days get warmer then flowers can grow splendidly. Where I live is the end of a desert and it gets very dry here in the summer. You need to choose plants that don't require to much water and like it hot! I do like flowers of all kinds !Thanks for reading Nita!

Somehow I sense you planted a garden or are in the midst of it. I really enjoyed your poem. I planted a garden this year. I even bought a large bulb in a guess bag. It has grown to a three foot tall plant with 3 large yellow looking bulbs at the top of it. I am not sure what it is or how big it will get before the buds finally open. My irises are already blooming here. Keep up the good.
