Thank you for such a reasoned response and commentary on the history of this non-Christian nation. There are too many in this Blog who think Christian means Caucasian? There is not enough evidence to support their notion that the Nation was founded on either White supremacy or Divine Providence?

The West ceased to be Christian only long time ago. Though the majority of people in our country are still Christian, that does not make us a "Christian country", just the way India is no longer a "Hindu country", and so on. Rather than taking offense to this fact, one needs to be proud of the fact that this is actually a positive reflection on the tolerance / acceptance / appreciation by the major religions of others, an essential realization for harmony in the world.
