Thanks, NiteTide!
Thank you for your kind thoughts, NiteTide. Yes, it can be a horrifying prospect when contemplating a loved one getting ill. As most parents know, they would rather that THEY get sick before any of their children. We would rather spare our children the misery of helplessness, pain, and fear. However, we are not omnipotent when it comes to protecting our children, so ... we do the best we can. Myself included. And pray our fannies off that this icky bug doesn't land in my kids' school or (GASP) my house!!
Thanks, again, for taking the time to leave a comment, NiteTide!!! It means a lot to me.

I'm still pretty calm about it...although the virus has appeared out of no where in the city that I work in...but I'm like you - I don't care whether I live or die. And there's no one of consequences like children that would suffer without me, so I'm just calm.
Good luck to you though, because I can just imagine how horrifying it must be to think there might even be the smallest CHANCE that someone you love can get hurt in some way...
