The reason there are so many versions is that folktales are designed to be embellished by the storyteller, so tell it the way that sounds right to you!

I would go with the one that makes you most comfortable! You want you best presentation so go with your strong points! sam

If you're a creative sort I'd create my own. If not, stick with what's out there.
