I hadn't considered this before, Joe.  Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

An excellent idea if I may say so myself.

Since there is soooooo many new people here now....and several of the comments are asking how.....why don't you consider reposting some of your instructional post about how to spiff up your blog sites?  Just a thought!

And here I thought it was just that my eyes were getting old along with the rest of me.

A great post Joe but how does one not technically computer bright change the background anyway?

Ya gotta point! I've never bothered much with prettying up things, although I did stick an orange slice disguised as a clock (or vice versa) into my blogs...My main beef is with those who write in black letters on a black background, forcing you to highlight things to determine if there's anything there at all there...

Amen.......
It tires you very quickly!

OK, Joe, I'll go along with this as long as the background is not pink!
Pink, especially pastel soft gentle non-abrasive pink, is the color for baby girl rooms, psychologically imposing tranquility and obedience. My extreme feminist suppressed tendencies are utterly opposed to pale pink (although I do feel very comfortable in my old purplish-pink granny flannel bathrobe)... How about I nice shade of fresh, light goldie-green, like new leaves in spring or the sweet parts of lettuce?

Joe, Thank you for suggesting this. I am very technologically challenged , but I don't see why they cant make it easier to have different colors for backgrounds etc.. I have played around with my blogs a few times  trying to make them more colorful.. but its quite tedious for me.

I'm OK with the black and white. Its better than the blackboards in school with the whit chalk writing....and I am 56!
