janey_ - thanx for stopping in

No one need apologize for the words and actions of a few social misfits who happen to declare themselves part of a belief system that you hold in reverence. At the end of the day they are merely representing themselves as they demonstrate for us all yet again, that a proclamation of faith is easy, it's the living it that's the difficult part.

Where there is always the concern that others will view the majority by the words and actions of a vocal misfit minority, most people understand that the handful of outspoken around here would be considered loonies no matter what religion they claimed to be members of.

I would like to apologize...and I realize you probably could care the less...for the arrogance and lack of respect shown you and others on Blogit from some of these so called Christians.   Unfortunately, within every belief system there are those who give a false impression of the majority.

kooka_lives - Re: So those were Dems' quotes
My dialogue with that guy totalled a handful of comments where he identified himself as someone too stupid to breed. After clubbing him over the head a few times because he asked for it, he began avoiding me. I know a quit while I'm ahead scenario when I see one.

Troosha - I commented around the periphery of the latest drivelfest
Then began to realize how disinterested I was in the whole affair. The screaming of perspectives best described as juvenile, is bound to have that affect on an old geezer such as myself. I know there are a lot of them out there but their sheer numbers never cease to amaze me.

So those were Dems' quotes
Yeah, I remember him. Don't miss him one bit.

Oh I’ve witnessed some natives getting restless of late ( a little tête-à-tête going on with a myriad of misquotes from the bible or off-the-wall comments and accusations.) It’s almost humorous to read but there’s a deeply pathetic side to the debate as well. They’re out there, gomedome.  You need only scratch the surface to awaken them.

Soul_Builder101 - I assume you are referring to ZenMom's comment
Where she said ". . .renounced religion/god/stupidity" . . . at the risk of speaking for her, I do not derive the addition of the word "supidity" from the way she used it as defining a belief in God in a broad sweeping generalization implying that belief is stupid. I get a completely different implication from these words. Some actions fostered by belief in God are indeed stupid as are some beliefs incredibly stupid. When it is considered that some of what the believing majority adhere to and are willing to promote, are self serving fabrications that cannot be substantiated or are easily refuted, yet they adhere to them anyways . . . what else can it be called but stupid?

RedStatesMan - if finding out that I am from Canada is all that you needed

to know . . . then it won't bother you one iota that you are now blocked.

I don't know how thick a supposedly adult human can be, but how many times do I have to club you over your soft little head, or how many ways can I tell you to get lost? . . . if you truly think that the comments in this post have any form of justification in terms of someone's right to speak this trash towards another human being, then you are simply a joke. A joke as a human being and a joke as a self declared follower of Christ. The joke is over now, . . . one last time . . . get lost.

ZenMom - that's not quite the case in our family
It's a 50/50 split amongst 4 siblings but no real surprise that the catholic mission school alumni in my brother and myself, purged our minds as best we could of the pollution.

Xeno-x - Re: those still remaining don't say it
You may have noticed that for the most part I am absent from political discussions. When the fundies go on about how large segments of their own country are somehow their enemy, it is a mindset that I do not fully comprehend. The polarization and characterization, one by the other, of the two dominant political parties, is a completely foreign concept to me.

The blogger who wrote those comments is long gone but I am sure you remember him. He had a more ridiculous user name than the colored state chucklehead . . . I'll give you a hint DEMSare________

From your comments.....stupidity is not the word to define those who believe that there is a God. If you never tried or failed is no reason to corral others into your 'intellectually inferior' category. Your failures are just that...FAILURES!

Great Post!

Thanks for posting those comments that you have received, I thoroughly enjoyed them. All of those bloggers had valid and correct points. It took me just long enough to check out your profile to see that you are a native of Canada, then that told me all I needed to know.

Great Post!

Looks like you were introduced to my brother back then............It's interesting that out of 6 kids in the family, I am the ONLY one whom has renounced religion/god/stupidity.

Wow, that was bad
Glad I've not had any run in with that blogger yet.  But there is time.

Some of the whack-jobs out there really do get off on spitting out their mindless BS that is so over flowing with ignorance and bigotry that it would amusing (Like watching the 3 stooges bumble around in their stupidity) if not for the influence their thinking has on our society.
