I'm sure there is a healthy amount of fighting. What that is I do not know. I think it varies.

Lustor
“B” and I rarely fight (though sometimes he’ll do the silent thing). I’ve come to understand that’s just his way but every now and then I let loose and just shout at him “What the hell is bothering you?” I rarely get an answer so it’s a waste of time.

It's the extremes that are bad, always fighting, or never fighting. If you can't fight, if you can't ever release the tension of what's eating at you, it can lead to a very bad relationship; same with fighting all the time, releasing anything and everything that bothers you. The real test is how you handle fights, do you learn, do you hear each other, do you resolve and move on? And if you can do all those things without the need for fighting, then again, nothing wrong. Never a pat answer, isn't life fascinating? Thanks for asking for 2 cents, I love giving mine

I don't care what the professionals say. . . ,
relationships that include constant bickering are not healthy.

It all depends by what you mean by 'fighting.' If you mean speaking your mind, showing your feelings and letting him know where your limits are, yes, then I agree. But I hate fighting with other people, I prefer to back off.
