- Go to A Writers Tendency?
I think writer's are a mixture of personalities. Some are out and about and others like to stay at home. Generalizing is tough.

I can write much better when it's quiet and no one is home. Usually, if I'm not too tired I like to write when everyone is asleep.

Naturally, writers who are serious
about the business need privacy to focus. And, the most private place I can think of. . , is my personal home. But, leisure writers (such as those hanging out in blogging communities) might not need this seclusion.

I have to be alone to think and write! I gravitate to being a hermit too! sam

i love being at home, alone, peace and quiet. Almost a hermit,
I think maybe it is a writer's tendency.. never thought of it like that, just always thought I'm weird and getting weirder...lol
