- Go to MY BABY SHINES! (A BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE)
What a wonderful post. I love to see a parent who has nothing but love and praise and thankfulness for the child/children they have nurtured and raised to maturity. You are fortunate indeed and I have a feeling your beautiful sunshine daughter would also say wonderful things about you.

Thank you so much for your lovely words. Though I'm chatting on this blog, I loved your Ode to our President.

I like to think she got at least a small spark from me.....but one of the greatest things about parenthood to me is seeing yourself, in a different interpretation. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's how I've always seen Michele. I see myself and my imprint....but she is so incredibly different. Thank you for the kind words, sweetness

Joe!!!!!
It's so wonderful to see back....thanks for making me a stop. I'm on here so infrequently these days that I might have missed you if my timing wasn't perfect.....I have missed you very, very much. I hope you know how much you touch others with your posts. As for the lyrics, just the first line is from the song.....seek it out, it's a great song....as are many of Rachel's songs.....a very talented lady.....classically trained, extremely talented on the keyboards.....and knows how to turn a phrase to twist your heart.

I'm sure you do! I've always said, every feeling of true success I've ever felt in my life revolved not around my corporate years, or high school conquests.....it's all been Michele.

This particular song is from a very short cd she put out.....I highly recommend her longer cd, "Cigarettes and Housework". She is a very talented lady. Thanks for stopping by...it's so good to see an old friend.

Thank you, sweet baby bro! Rachel Fuller is a very talented lady....doesn't do much, but what she does is pure class. I "met" her through her cd "Cigarettes and Housework"....she's married to Pete Townshend but was something of a mucical phenom before she met him....interesting duo.

Hiya, Krisles
Lovely sentiments. Is the entire entry lyrics from the song. . , or just the first though
stand back and watch me (her) shine?

Hmm, I like the lyrics, I will have to see if I can find it so that I can hear it.
