Good luck Malcom
I have an unfinished manuscript of 60,000 words with a finished product about 200,000 words away, a sequel planned done and two other unfinished manuscripts  one a novel and one a screenplay waiting for me to find the time to finish them . Then there is the marketing and that is a heart break in itself. There are a lot of wannabe writers out there. Good writing and keep up the pace.

It's good to start
I'd say just enjoy the treat of letting it all pour in those seven hours. It is a treat. Quality issues are for second and third drafts which are also treats in their own ways. Enjoy.

Congratulations! And you have a plan for success too! It will take time but the effort will be worth! Much good tidings with this project! sam

An hour a day is do-able, I would think.  Onward and upward, Malcolm!  Beginning is always the hardest part.
