I think lawns SHOULD be brown!
Food,
All the crap that goes wrong with my lawn mowers, dull blades, burnt belts, (from mowing swale) dead battery, water in the gas tank, needing a new pulley (because it rubbed on the deck and warped, making it EAT belts) holes in the deck, (from blasting through sand) dented deck, (from hitting rocks, pulleys and stumps) well, you know what I mean. I hate ALL grass AND mowers! when it gets to be July and August, I am happy that my lawn scorches and will only need one or two more mowings, before becomming covered by snow. Then I have to start fixing my snow blower!

I had automatic sprinklers
until they were blown up when lightening hit the tree in my back yard. Now I have to turn them on by hand, and there are icky things down in the hole where valve is. Maybe brown is a good color for grass?
Better yet maybe it will rain. yeah. wait for rain.
