So far, TAPS, I have only walked a section somewhat less than a mile.
But it was the most interesting part I saw.

Re: I remember trails looking similar to that in Melbourne..
Luckily, for an adult, trails like this old little threat... but sad to say, for kids, buddy system is always in effect, anywhere.

How fun.  Did you find out what was at either end?

I remember trails looking similar to that in Melbourne..

However, for Indonesians, walking/riding through a passage way like that really took a great getting used to. I used to have my phone in my hand, with '000' ready to dial in one click..

Only now, I can say that the scenery looks nice.. Thanks for sharing..

Re: Ciel
The dips and turns make this a more interesting trail to photograph.  Often, all one photo can hold is a bit of straight vanishing around a corner.

Re: Beautiful trail!
Could be our eyes are feasting on any color after the long bleak winter.

Mal, trails always have a pull...
love to just keep on going. Then when you have to finally turrn around to go back, it's a whole different view, a different trail!

I love the "noise gauntlet" - wonderful.  And that path is so alluring!  Mal

Thanks, Jan!
I have made much use of the 'barking dogs' metaphor--the world is so full of them, the ones who bark and posture and try to intimidate anyone who passes too near what they consider their own territory...  Usually in conversations about taking such barking too personally.
