RedStatesMan - you are truly a moron

You have confused the point with your own mindless interpretation. Your religion affects me every day, from having to deal with simpering fools such as yourself who can barely construct a coherent thought, to how its unworkable paradigms permeate everyday life. From your deluded take on what this post actually said, you seem intent on taking me to task about my own personal enlightenment and accomplishments. All I can say is you don't want to go any further down that path, you are completely out of your league. You have to understand what is contented to attempt to refute it.

I would suggest that you not venture from the shallow end of the gene pool.

Re: RedStatesMan - Re: You? A Pawn of Satan? HA!
So you have not given any enlightenment or accomplishments of your own since you are not hindered my religion which completely renders this post meaningless. That is what I thought! Just answer me! Tell me since religion has not affected you then what have you been able to do to save our species?

Soul_Builder101 - you really do have to spend some time amongst normal

people.

The lack of awareness you imply is a lame argument. There are no prizes for being delusional and convincing a handful of others with an equally tenuous grasp on reality of your ridiculous explanation for whatever it was that you experienced. At the end of the day, you are all still nuts. There has to be a better way of attracting attention or garnering sympathy, or whatever it is that causes you to make up such crazy stuff . . .

That comment almost borders on civil dialogue but unfortunately in your attempt to ask what I presume is a serious question, you make it clear that you completely miss the point. One does not have to be a member of a religion to experience the deliterious effects that religion has on the society that they live in. The problems caused by religion on a global scale are even more acute.

Satan exists! he tried to kill me. If you cannot see him in your awareness...what can I say!

hazel_st_cricket - thank you

I remember "Geraldine", or Flip Wilson in drag. That was pretty racy stuff back then, no wonder it was such a hit for a few years.

Being far fetched is the problem I have with a lot of religious beliefs, as if our cattle sacrificing ancestors have some great arcane wisdom to impart to us.

You? A Pawn of Satan? HA!

No, actually your are just a man who lives in Canada. However, I would like for you to elaborate. You said:

". it is not only Christianity that I have a problem with, it is all religions that are derived from ancient mythologies and based on the observations of primitive man that I have a problem with. Collectively they represent the single biggest impediment mankind faces in garnering the co-operation needed in overcoming the problems that face our species."

I do understand about having 'a problem' with someone's beliefs. What I want to know is that since you obviously are not a Christian, which eliminates you from experiencing this impediment as you say, then what have you discovered or accomplished in overcoming these problems that face our species, of which you are a member?

In the famous words of Flip Wilson, " The Devil made me do it !" LOL

Photobucket

LOL, Kidding.  I believe everyone has the right to ask questions and believe as they will. I question everything. I have a hard time believing in Satan, as well. I think theology is very interesting, however, most of the beliefs seem pretty far fetched. I believe in a higher power, and I believe each of us holds more power within us, than we realize. I find your posts very intelligent and interesting.

The Apostle Paul said Pawns of Satan would appear as messengers of light.
So who is the real pawn of Satan?
