First, I read your other messages, and you are a funny lady. Keep it up. About chat rooms: I tried them two or three times and found them to be utterly boring! Nothing there to bring me back. They seem to be visited on a regular basis only by those with IQs of about 60. The topic of sex would be a major imrprovement to the assinine crap I witnessed.

Being a guy I don't have to deal with it...
Yeah, I don't have to deal with it personally myself, but it is pretty crazy. I'm guessing you haven't been chatting all that long to react the way you have, so some possible tips:
- Don't enable PM's from anyone except people on your friends list.
- Don't bother getting in a conversation with people using explicit names.
- Spend enough time in one room to get to know the regulars who chat in there.
- Make sure your profile (if you have one) doesn't say female or single/looking.
- Use a name and/or nickname that isn't clearly feminine.
Anyhow, I'm a regular in a chat room and sometimes it can still be hard to find people that are actually just interested in a conversation. Even being a guy I get instant messages from dorks hoping I'm female. Don't give up... there are some normal people out there.

It's so f*(#*ing irritating! I'm in a chat room -- obviously a place for SEX chat -- and some woman comes in and wants to be friends. Wassup with that?!
