So sorry to hear about the death.
My church has always had plenty of palms left over. I guess they vastly overestimate to avoid that sort of situation though mistakes obviously can happen as can be seen here.

We have cut palms. We go into the fellowship hall and have a procession into the sanctuary. This Sunday I*ve played the angel already on our grounds and then we enjoy a continental breakfast. A blessed Easter. I*ve seen woven ones. We had a death too that I wove into a recent story. BCA, Bill*s Roost

I love your posts, and would love to come visit you some Sunday. Sounds silly maybe but the next best thing would be to post your sermon.

In India too, people get crosses made of palm leaves (in some churches, at least!) Would love to hear your sermons! Thanks for your kind comment on my post. This is a busy week for you, so look forward to hearing all about it! Nita.

I can imagine it would be difficult to deliver a sermon under those circumstances! I like it when difficult issues are discussed too! The more one talks the less frightening they become! sam
