TIMMY..lol...yes, they were something to behold: "I Was a Teenage Werewolf" starring a very young Michael Landon comes to mind, or "Wind Across the Everglades" with Burl Ives..(yikes, I am really dating myself here..

It is sad. I probably would not go anymore, but my grandkids will never experience them firsthand

We have only two drive-ins left...
...in the state of Maryland. One of which is a short drive from me, and which has remained open against all odds.
I agree, Timmy, it is a relic from the past that will be sorely missed and which, fortunately, my kids got to experience while they still can.

you bring back fun memories from way back when. The car horns used to
sound and I was so innocent I didn't understand that it was a score!!! Then later when I was married it was the only place to go for an outing. Babies asleep in the back and watching a movie on a clear warm night. thanks for memory lane.

Hey, we went to many a drive-in movie in Denver when my children were young. There was a playground at the drive-in and the kids played before the movie, in pajamas, and then we had a cooler full of snacks, blankets and pillows in the Jimmy. And many a morning that we were woke in the drive-in up saying we would have to go home now. lol, dusk till dawn movies, Clint Eastwood movies were our favorites.
