I think that's true, that there's a reason some people aren't in our present (friends we knew). I've been running into some lately that I haven't seen for many years, and I think there is a reason for that too.

Symphony, I hear you...as sam says, it can be very frustrating reading
some people you never hear from in return...I know I am guilty of it at times myself, but I am trying to comment on everyone on my reading list as I read them....some days that can be easier or harder to do depending on a LOT of things involved in LIFE..

I am with Sam. It hurts. I love and respect the oldtimers and would be happy if they comment occasionally. It's a pity though that the new writers have not inculcated the reading habit. IF they don't read, it's their problem!
