all your posts on food i have enjoyed, it is really hard to give up some kind of meat, I don't know why, because i feel it is truely awful how we treat the animals we are eating and i really believe it does effect the meat. I have cut down some, in the summer when all the food from the garden comes in, it is easier to not eat the meat. My neighbor is raising meat the natural way , on the land with grass, and when he slaughters he keeps the animal calm and he prays. He agrees with you that a scared animal renders the meat not good.

Hi Dave the excitement here is levelling off so back to reading my
friends. I AM always honest so I will say I have to have some fish, chicken and the occasional steak in my diet. I guess I'm just an old carnivore, left over from the prehitory era. Most of our diet though is fruit vegetable nuts and light fat free dairy.

that is a surprising list
although it does increase my yen to return to vegetarianism... food is so much more fun to cook and eat when it doesn't include meat
