I've never seen a movie that makes me want to cry.
I think the last time I cried in front of people was back in 2000. I try to avoid that too. I've cried in private since then.
I don't consider myself to be an easy crier.

I have no emotional filters for music...
...so I cry easily at certain songs.

it's just that u've suppressed ur tears at the time of ur parents' deaths
'cos 'strong persons aren't supposed to cry'. So it all comes out in other ways. That was my experience at least.

touching movies, books, and songs bring out my water works.
Seeing something very inspiring or having an extreme act of kindness, even sometimes just a kind word, when I'm feeling blue can bring tears to my eyes.

I used to cry a lot, but it does not happen very often now. Even big strong girls have a right to cry.
I found the following, which you may find interesting.
''MYTH: If you don’t cry, it means you aren’t sorry about the loss.
Fact: Crying is a normal response to sadness, but it’s not the only one. Those who don’t cry may feel the pain just as deeply as others. They may simply have other ways of showing it.''

it all depends. Commercials can me make cry and Extreme Makeover Home Edition... I cry through the whole thing. In reality... I think I am making up for all the times I haven't cried when I did not allow myself to break down

I get emotional and tears flow automatically when I watch sad scenes or even when someone does well and is applauded and appreciated. I have no control over my tears.
