Fatih does make pain more bearable
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia two years ago after more than four years of pain. I still have the pain the majority of my waking hours, but knowing that the Lord can use physical ailments to help us develop spiritual endurance certainly puts it into a perspective that otherwise seems random and meaningless. I've kept Paul's comments in 2 Corinthians 12 in mind quite frequently. Many blessing to you as you follow the Lord through these challenges.
