Re: I know riri0322, so I look at the darned thing and can't make myself
ever use it. I have tried the stand on the other side of the fence, everything ever written with the help of lilbrary research people and nothing works on my circus dog.
She doesn't care that I cannot pay the Pound $60 a day to rescue her when they find her. My friend had his dog put down while trying to raise the money to save him from the Pound, a jumper, too. So, I am freaked about her jumping.
If it were up to me, I would make a ten foot fence around the garden, but my efforts to raise the landlord's walls have failed her repeated assaults. So, she lives on a chain when outside and must stay in for hours when I have to go out. Bad situation.

shock collars are not a good thing.... there are several books on dog training that address jumping issues
