Write it all down. Let the paper worry!

Symphony
When my mind is assailed by thoughts too many, I simply latch on to any thread and try not to pull one until two others are out of lace, and I have rerely, if ever, known a headache.

Symphony

Yup – writing it down doesn’t necessarily solve or resolve the thoughts reeling around in our heads but it certainly slows down the relentless spin.

To write things down is very good...it helps a lot.

This is indeed a good way; I feel more organized when I've made lists, and feel very happy when I can cross off the ones taken care of! Thanks for commenting on my post. God bless. Nita.

That is an excellent strategy...
...that I implement only sporadically.

Symphony, thanks for the suggestion...I usually just trust things to
memory, which can be pretty risky at times...writing things down, you can't go wrong.....

Symphony
I learned several years ago that I needed to work from the front to the back. I am very careful what I allow into my mind to stay for any length of time. If it is something I need to put on a calender I do. I don't allow junk or pressure and certainly not guilt to stay in my mind. I pray when I become stressed and evacuate the junk. Someone told me once you could not keep a bird from flying over your head but you could prevent his building a nest in your hair. I can't keep thoughts from coming in but I can send them packing so they don't stress me.

I always keep at least one spiral on the front seat of the car...something
always swims at its leisure through the mind and I cannot always hold to it with everything that settles into or unsettles the thoughtstream...good to hear from you again!

in most cases there isnt anything that cant wait until the following day, but when I have something or a meeting I keep reminding myself over and over again.

Writing anything on paper (or anywhere) is probably the best thing you can
do Symphony; it works particularly well for things to do and priorities; writing down your immediate and ultimate goals works excellently too! These are tried and tested methods that I have used successfully many times........Many blessings and thanks

I write myself lists of jobs to be done; providing I remember where I've put the list  I usually do them.
