Can be a lonely and bleak life, up on those Scottish crofts. But it can also be magnificent, even (possibly) when one's hand is up unmentionable places.... not that I intend to test that theory!

I'm glad you keep in touch with her and that she is writing somewhere.
Helping to birth lambs is quite a job. Sheep are so helpless.
Uncle Jakie and Auntie Louise raised sheep here in Missouri. We always took our boys to see the lambs gamboling in the spring.
