Perhaps you were mugged and it went another way. I did not say I was against stem cell research. The piece I wrote was about the misconception of what really happened and what the media suggested. I am for the president doing what his campaign promised. I did not come on here to compare presidents nor their efforts. I think your attitude is arrogant misdirected and in total lack of understanding of what I wrote. Thank you for your notice anyway.

you are one of the sharpest knives in the drawer. You know I am not against stem cell research. My post did not indicate that. I feel there is a tremendous amount of profit in the drug industry both legal and illegal. When I pay $84 for a prescription I later found for $4 at wal-mart I know there is room for them to pay for stem cell and all other medical research because they will if they see profit in it and all of it is profitable. however, none of this is what I wrote about. What I wrote about is the misconception of what was true and what the media put out there to make it appear to be something it was not. I am truly sorry about your Mom.

i am giving him a chance. I went back and re-read what I wrote. I am asking him to live up to his campaign promises. I am not on here to defend bush, a war or condemn Obama I want the government to do the job it is supposed to do and that is not to be our parents.

They used to say a conservative is a liberal who just got mugged. I say conservatives are against stem cell research
until a loved one is struck down by a disease that might be helped by stem cell research. Nancy Reagan is a big proponent of such research
after Ronald Reagan is diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
Don't like government spending for stem cell research? It's a pittance. I don't like my tax dollars spent on religious-based (ok, "faith based") organizations that are free to discriminate in the distribution of those funds. I certainly didn't like $6 billion of my money being spent each and every month to fight a bogus war in Iraq while Osama bin Laden still walks the earth a free man. I don't like 25% of my Federal tax dollars going to the military, military spending that is greater than the next 90 countries of the world COMBINED! But if you don't like the spending, lobby your Representative and Senators. Get out and vote. Get out THE vote. But until the next election, remember We Won! So take a seat in the back and wait for your turn.

Hi Justi!
Well, I have to say that I am willing to pay my part in stem cell research. I am tired of paying taxes for crap that doesn't apply to most Americans and I am certainly NOT for the bailouts. But, stem cell research can and will save so many lives. Maybe if my diabetic mom who died 2 years ago could have been one of them.

Give him a break.
Bush ultimately caused the death of many Americans for reasons that turned out to be false. He beguiled the American people into a belief that doomsday was near. Obama is new, fresh, learning and in many ways naive. But he does care and he does have a geniune desire to raise America's standing in the world. Support his first four years, if after this time, he's still earmarking, spending unneceassarily, vote him out, bring in another dinosaur and usher America back to the days of Nixon. All I ask is you give the guy a chance.

Ron Paul wants more Earmarks. I just fear that it is all to late as the monster is about to devour all...both good and evil. The Federal Reserve is broke...having only toxic assets. America is financing everything on credit. There is a Lowe's store with signs in Chinese and Russian. China has the right to levy on us for being in debt. I hope they pick the White House, the Senate and HR buildings! This is the beginning of the end. I keep looking for SAVIOURS but none is forthcoming!

Yes, it gets more scary every minute but I do blame Obama and you will see the further damage he will do in the next 4 years. He's got to go! However, I do blame all of the people who voted for Obama because a majority of them had never voted ever! They know nothing about politics at all! Then you have the youngsters who had no idea of what they were doing becuase they grabbed for the first flashy thing to voite for like babies. I know of 5 elderly who voted for him because of their ole stupid idea that democrats help the poor and middle class thing. That crap is such an ole lie it is not funny! Yet they do not realize it! Stupidity is what got Obama in the White House!
