I agree with giving kids a break but, sin must be paid for. Christ could appeal to his father to forgive. He couldn't rewrite the karma(though he did it in other places). He could bless and curse. The trouble starts with the elites not our personal inadequacies. If one fights and eliminates the top, peace and love can return. Entirely my views!

Although I agree that we must learn to forgive
it doesn't come naturally to kids. It's something we decide to do, then learn to do. I do NOT condone the youth violence you mentioned, though. It's a very complex issue, for sure. Thanks for this meaningful post.
