Dalai Lama & Buddhists have no god; yet in practice they do.Religion can
begin with human inspiration---like Buddha, no God. All I am suggesting is that we will never agree with each other because of culture (if u do not accept the word history). If I ws born in the jungles of India or Brazil...it would be harder to believe in One God. I can tell all my Christian friends that when Constantinebecame Christian as the Roman Emperor he made it a religion of Empire and colonialism. Islam too was a colonial, expanisonist religion... when you go to other lands...you pick up many ideas. That is why Indonesia, even Berbers in Morocco do not believe everything that Arab or Iranian Muslims accept at "TRUTH". God gives...but men do select IDOLS...we Christians make an idol of MONEY...as do most other religions. One God...but many human kings, leaders... who call the shots. Is this dialogue? I hope ...

this is a long, helpful post. If it was not religion, I'd call it another
Scripture...but you are summarising Islam. What I learned from religion and history, each one borrowed ideas from those that came before. Christians took five books of Judaism and called it the Old Testament (part of the Bible). At the level of ideas...the Babylonian Empire (always empires!) came up with the idea of One God... among the erarly Jews, the Elohim (TRINITY I know) was comepeting withj Ball and Yahweh (YHWH...not to be pronouced by those who are religous) ...so anyways, we can discuus, or fight...over which is better/right. GOD is Creator and our FATHER/JUDGE. Shalom and Salaam. Amen and Ameen to you Friend.
