Madoff is jailed. No doubt, while he was home, steps were taken to install his security in jail. There are many unanswered questions. Lets hope researchers discover where the money went!

The situation is grim. People who are 'underwater' are handing in their keys and walking. I hope those who are better off help these people with meals...like they often do for shelters. There were 19 million homes vacant. The banks are trying to get these sold( in addition to collecting bailouts). In Detroit you can buy a house for a dollar.

I have Sacramento (CA) family who live not far at all from the burgeoning tent city problems there. The tent cities are growing by 50 new homeless per day and thousands are existing where there is no drinking water, or sanitation. They are run off of one place and spread out on another. There is no place for them to go. A lot of them had jobs and homes and bank accounts not long ago. There are definitely threats of martial law in that place.

Much the same in the UK. The banks have been given billions, yet there was a story on the news recently of a woman whose husband was lost at sea and the banks are refusing to believe he's dead and charging her huge interest on his debts so that she's sinking deeper and deeper into debt all the time. yet again it's one law for the rich and another for all the rest of us.

Thanks Ash! One banker not yet jailed is Madoff. I guess the reason is that he stole from some very bad people. If he leaves home he may never return!Let's hope the law does what it has to do!

Thanks Mariaki! You have to remember too, that these people can actually create the states they scare us with. They control politicians and perhaps every important person. They control the media too. They have resources of unimaginable magnitude. Look at the serious state we are going into....they created it. Offshoring of jobs added to closedowns have ruined many. My next post will measure how deep we have sunk!

late last year; where we were relatively untouched we were told consistently by the media that we too have a crisis - the only evidence of this is that people are too scared to spend which of course is creating a real crisis; I believe all media scare mongers should be sent to space in an open boat!
