In my country we call it PHAGWA. Its roots are in the Ramayan and The Mahabharat. Yet, common culture with the sex-school games has prostituted a good festival. The hindi song.... Kitni diwaane aaye hai, mai aag lage toe kabhi na kabhi....tells of the debasement of krishna's leelas into 'cooking' episodes! There went hindu morality!

Happy colorful Holi to you too! Kids are so unpredictable! I imagine it is a bit frightening to the younger ones, they might think they are going to stay the colors that are put on them! lol sam

It must be a bit confusing for the children; after all I imagine their mothers tell them to keep themselves clean all the year, then suddenly everybody starts throwing paint around. I like your colorful layout!
